fingers crossed

that the weather is a lot better tomorrow than today; i doubt very much whether the vendor has indoor facilities, and it's been a bit wet here!

i find it odd - horse in field, wet, can be very warm; bring in for feed, as as soon as body gets under cover, starts shivering. turn out again, still warm, fine (gallops off up hill at rate of knots - that shoulder seems finer than it was :-) )

  1. I think when they stop moving, the blood stops feeding to the muscles to keep them warm??

Also, I know that when I work and get sweaty, and then stop, I chill pretty quickly if I am not moving in the same temperature air...

Hope it dries out for the test rides.
