just along to the ford and back, in company, in walk, plagued by flies - he was very good, despite the grief the flies were causing all of us & the rain held off until after i was home...
i had been in two minds whether to ride or not as i'd been in a fairly bad mood leaving the house.. but riding, of course, cheered me up! reckon he must have sensed that tonight was not a good night for messing me about, didn't do his usual wander from side to side whilst i was grooming...
and stood like a lamb for mounting as well... hopefully that continues!
Maybe you need to try the "don't mess with me" mindset the next time you go out to work Monfi. Could be you have unlocked the secret to making him behave.
