probably because the mud is drying up and thus making it more difficult to pull a foot out.

cold hosing. can't find that wrap i had that you put in cold water and then put on the leg, know i haven't tossed it but where it is is another matter...
keep him in for a couple of days and then see...
Poor boy. Hope is is OK soon. That mud sounds dreadful. We've lucked out here so far, but....ya never know.

ReplyDeleteMud, and ice for that matter, can be treacherous for horses. On the other hand you hate to keep them in all winter.
