he was sold...

the horse i came off, the following weekend, new owners love him and he's going hunting.

i've found 2 motors to look at, a Freelander for nearly £8K (which i could tow a single horse trailer with) or a Megane for just under £5K.

so will be looking at them at the weekend..

  1. Is that the older style of Freelander with the sub-2l engine though? If it's 4WD that'll be very useful in winter.

    Renault sounds good too :)

Hoping for a fruitful search this weekend!

  2. Every horse is not for every person...glad he found a home.

Don't know a thing about those cars. Good luck whichever you decide on--if either.

  3. What is the MAM on the freelander?

Depending on the trailer make, single horse trailer MAM's range between 1,4000kg - 1,600kg. The bigger ones have more space inside.

I take it that both are automatic?

  4. Also, if you don't want a two-horse trailer, think about mare and foal trailer options, they're a little wider which makes them more stable, and roomier than a single horse.
