it had stopped when i got him in ... stopped as i groomed .. then just thinking, shall i tack up? when it started again.....

ok, yes, i could have got wet ... but i didn't want to and generally its miserable riding in the rain (especially without wipers for one's specs...)
Not being able to see through wet glasses is the worst. Don't blame you for deciding to stay dry.
