Below freezing temperatures are a real problem in a location where they aren't expected. Here we have heaters in the water and special taps that drain the water below ground level where it's above freezing. And we have indoor arenas (in some places). There are times when the ground is frozen or snow covered for two weeks at a time. Though this winter so far is mild and dry.

ReplyDeleteFrozen ground is one thing, but frozen water pipes...not so good. Wishing a thaw comes soon.
