late winter return?

the forecast was for "white cloud"

what we had, first thing, was frost on the cars and thick fog, followed by mizzly rain and cold cold...

i managed to do something painful to my wrist (probably filling haynets again!) and so didn't go swimming.

didn't work M as it was raining again, overall not a nice night

but DID remember to ring the doctor's! appointment next tuesday morning (possibly could have got in sooner, but want an appointment convenient for me, LOL)

  1. There is something so cold about weather like that. I can really enjoy and feel warm in mid twenties (-4C) weather here.

Glad you were able to make an appointment for your hip. It will be nice to have a plan.

Why not put a hay rack up or better yet a tub in the corner of his stable so you don't have to load up a hay net. They are hard to do, I agree. It's not nearly as common here. Tetley is fed right off the ground and wastes hardly any at all.

  2. I don't think the cold, wet weather is helping your wrist any. Good idea from Mary Lou about the hay. My guys eat from the ground too.

Hope the hip appointment is soon. Finding out what exercises are best is going to help a lot.

Try to stay warm. The weather sounds miserable.
