have to say, much as i want another horse, in this weather i am happy not to have to go out: it's not that it's hugely deep - about 5" all told, i reckon, where it is undisturbed/not compacted - it's that the roads are not clever and hills turn to ice rinks.
That's more snow than we have gotten here in Boulder and it's much wetter too I'll wager. Wet snow and horses are not the best mix - so I agree with you about the advantages of not having to go out.

ReplyDeleteSomehow, snow has lost its beauty in my eyes. It just looks cold. That piano, indoors, is looking like a better and better idea for the season.
